The back room of the Parthenon -- unusual in a Doric temple--was used as a treasury, and is thought to have had Ionic columns. An Ionic column has taller and more slender proportions than a Doric column, and so the four columns in the treasury were single -- not double decker, like the doric columns in the cella.
