Title:

A Look at the Boundary of a Convex Set

Abstract:

A set S of points is convex if for each pair of points x and y in S, the line connecting x and y lies completely inside S. In this talk we will study the "boundary" of a convex set by looking at the behavior  of linear functions there. The only prerequisite for this talk is a basic knowledge of analytic geometry as taught in a typical precalculus course.
