Subgroup Lattices of Finite Groups
The collection of all of the subgroups of a finite groups forms a lattice. This lattice has a number of sublattices that can be identified with a specific group property. However, the collection of subgroups of a group that satisfy a certain property do not need to necessarily form a sublattice of the subgroup lattice. This talk will discuss when subgroups that satisfy certain properties form a sublattice of the subgroup lattice.
