The Model Theory of Differential Fields with Finitely Many Commuting Derivations
Abstract:
In this talk, I will give an introduction to differential algebra. Then I will give axioms for the theory of differentially closed differential fields with finitely many derivations, and discuss the model-theoretic properties of that theory. I will show how various model-theoretic ranks are computed and give bounds for these ranks.
