Jessica Tara Smith, or Tara, is a Journalism
Major at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She hopes to one day work
for TIME or Newsweek and to earn her Master's in Journalism at Columbia University.
Her extracurricular activities include Student Representative for the Honors
Council, head of public relations for Anime Society and captain of women's
epee for the Fencing Club. When she's not working or studying, she likes to
read books by her favorite authors like Kafka, Vonnegut and Palaniuk. She
also enjoys writing poetry, short stories and is working on a novel that has
yet to be completed. Most of all, she loves to paint, draw or do anything
else artistic.
