Many non-Art majors wonder what goes on in the building called the Steel Plant. Most Marist students who are not involved in the art field aren't even aware of its existence on the other side of Route 9. The brick building that looks more like a warehouse than an academic building is the birthplace of many creative works by students and faculty. It is also the home of a modern form of art that is finding a place in our increasingly technological world. This new art trend is digital media.
