Beginning with junior year, students who meet the criteria may apply for an internship which provides the student with valuable hands-on experience.
Some of these include experience in:

• the Washington Semester Program at the American University
  
• the New York State Senate /New York State Assembly in Albany
  
• New York City with NBC or the United Nations
  
• Local government or non-profit and advocacy groups
  
• County Public Defender's Office
