Consequences
It should be noted that all faculty at Marist College are required to notify the dean of their
school of all instances of dishonesty.Consequences of dishonesty are at the discretion of the instructor but typically include an F grade for the assignment or test under question and the issuing of a formal warning for the first instance of dishonesty.
An F grade for the course for subsequent instances of dishonesty. Instructors may also suggest suspension or expulsion from the college. Students accused of dishonesty may contest the accusation by following the appeals process outlined in the student handbook.
